Over 31 days I will instill habits consistent with those of the Proverbs 31 Woman of Noble Character.

After several life changes (including becoming a mommy), my formerly organized days have
started happening to me instead of me happening to them. To calm the chaos in the wake of such big changes, I needed a game-changer. Aspiring to the verses of Proverbs 31 seemed like a great start!

Concentrating on 5 key areas - Spiritual, Family, Career, Homemaking, and Health - I will be instilling a new habit in one of these areas each day in March. I know the "Road to Proverbs 31" will continue many years after this project, but after 31 Days I hope to have created several long-lasting habits akin to those of a Biblical Woman of Noble Character.

5 KEY AREAS (Daily Post Schedule)

Over the 31-Day Project, I will be concentrating on the following 5 Key Areas. Of course, the Proverbs 31 Woman expands far beyond these 5 areas, but these are all I can tackle in the 31 day period!**

1. Mondays - Spiritual

"... A woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." -Proverbs 31:30

2. Tuesdays - Homemaking (specifically, organizing the chaos and clutter while committing to a cleaning schedule)

"She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness." -Proverbs 31:27

3. Wednesdays - Career (specifically, contributing to the family income - some women do this by working to cut family expenses; i can better serve by bringing in a separate income)

"She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard." -Proverbs 31:16

"She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night." -Proverbs 31:18

"She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes." -Proverbs 31:24

4. Thursdays  - Health (specifically, physical exercise, low-fat diet and limiting processed foods to 25% or less)

"She gets up while it is still night; she provides food for her family ..." -Proverbs 31:15

"She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks." -Proverbs 31:17

5.  Fridays - Family (specifically, my roles as wife and mother)

"Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land." -Proverbs 31:23

"Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: 'Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.'" -Proverbs 31:28-29

6. Saturdays - Bonus Habit

**Side Note: While a Proverbs 31 Woman will be balanced among several areas, including these 5, my specific goals are personal. I in no way intend to imply that these specific goals are necessary to be a woman of Noble Character.
